Connecting Timber Yard: Canal-Side Walkway Progresses at Silverthorne Lane

Exciting progress has been made at Silverthorne Lane, with work underway on a brand-new canal-side walkway that will connect Timber Yard to the wider Temple Quarter regeneration area, including the University of Bristol’s new Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus.

Delivered by Square Bay, the walkway will eventually run past the new school and link Timber Yard with the upcoming Iron Works build-to-rent scheme. Once complete, it will provide a safe, attractive route linking students living at Timber Yard directly to the University’s new campus and Bristol city centre.

This key piece of infrastructure will not only enhance connectivity within the Silverthorne Lane development but also help create a more vibrant, walkable neighbourhood, making it easier for residents to enjoy the best of Bristol student living.
